i love people.

that's what it all comes down to when i stop and consider why i create photographs. i am just a fan of people. i love their faces and their lines. their movements and the way they laugh...the choices they make from day to day over the simplest of things. it's just beautiful to me, so i capture it.

i've learned that the photograph is more than a still image to me, its a moment. whether its borrowed, captured, fabricated or stolen...it is a testament of a singular event made real and frozen by my camera. a photograph, to me, must tell a story. it must reveal something about both the subject and the voyeur. something real and private that would not have made itself known otherwise.

this is why i shoot. it's my bliss and it guides me..
